Ok, I've checked out my reed blocks old and new and noticed that the reed petal supports are much thinner on the new gold block. The 2 inner spines on the old one are 5mm thick but only 3.5mm on the newer one. Are the new ones suppose to be this thin or is this a faulty block as Alanrr mentions above?
