i agree tha you should use some form of lubricant but be very careful what you use, as some lubricants can change the properties of the rubber similar to tyre softener, which is obviosly illegal.

therefore i reccomend being very careful to not get the lubricant on the contact surface of the tyre of just use the correct tyre soap.
