I am certainly not stating that drivers not involved in running clubs are not entitled to have a say... simply that there is a system in place and people should start to use it. If people do not want to get involved in the decision making process for whatever reason they will then simply get what they are given by those who do use the system.....unfortunate but true… then start to complain bitterly about what they now have is hollow to say the least.

Club committees are not power hungry animals as somebody previously posted… they exist to enable decisions to be made regarding club fund matters and meeting organisation without them and left to members only… meetings would not happen.

Club members do have easy access to the committees to express their opinion’s regarding any subject they wish to broach and these suggestions are or should be at least discussed at committee meetings.

I fail to see or have heard any reason posted on this notice board why a drivers union can improve the present situation at club level…

I have an open mind so disprove me…!!
