Thank for your reply John - He brakes just before the corner and then starts to press the accelerator just about at the apex. So it is a guess at what the revs drop to but the time between the lift and the press can only be a second or so, so the revs won't have dropped considerably. He is then flat out until the braking zone to the hairpin leading on to the dummy grid straight
