yeh i agree with ian, its nice to see someone doing so much research, it will cost less in the long run by doing so, but dont worry about your abilities, everyone had to start from somewhere, i jumped stright into a tkm, after a couple of test days i was on the pace with the other novices and then won 5 trophies on the bounce, so dont worry about whether you can drive it or not, just go and do it!!!...i suggest you go to a c100 test day and then enter a race, you will be able to tell whether you like it or not, then after a few races or a season go buy a tkm or another kart and start testing and then enter an msa series at your ocal track.
