Bend it a bit more

Every thing said above is as usual spot on. But there is one more small point to make. Maybe the simplist when at track side.

Without using a bunch of buzz words relating to the chemical make up of steel

Metal once bent will always return to the new bend position (because it's been stretched too far). What you have to do is bend it back more that it wants to go (overbend). It, then during use, will then settle back to the original nuetral position. Maybe a slight further adjustment will be required.

Some of the people that jig the frame don't do this.
