forgot to say, on my jkh i could never seem to get one pad to engage at the same time as the other, in the end i undid the carrier, pressed the brake fully on, let it move to one side, then did the carrier up again, yes it was set slightly to one side, but both pads hit the disc at the same time and it worked perfectly after that.
