It's strange at this time of year, some day's are just really quick when the air temp is not too hot but the day is dry with little wind. Last year we were over 3/10 th's under the cadet lap record at Rissy in May on several runs on the test day. The conditions changed for race day so it got slower and although the record did drop later in the year by a few 100th's we have never got near those times since.

The lap records at CKC were reset late last year when they changed the curbs in about September. It is not that surprising that they have been broken now the weather is improving this year without it being too hot.
