David.

We only pick-up the inside wheel during turn-in. As we take the rest of the corner with zero or very little lock, the lift doesn't come into it.

I have run 'stagger' weighting on a large number of endurance events and it DOES make a huge difference: the old version of Buckmore Park where it only had 2 left corners and they could be taken by chukcing the kart into them meant that the stagger worked for the rest of the lap.

Another great example was old Kimbolton that has a SINGLE minor left.... all the rest were 'rights'. In mid winter, the right front NEVER got even SLIGHTLY warm!

When tracks become symetrical, then we'll NEED symetrical karts.....

50:50 is a good starting point but it is NOT an ideal in every case.

Ian
