Are these not 25mm (1") axles

If it is indeed these 25mm axles that are prone to breaking surely a move to 30mm axles could solve the problem. However this would change the handling of the kart. Could it be that people are using 'soft' 25mm axles? Continous flexing causing fatigue.
Never had 30mm or 50mm axle break in 16 years of recent karting. Did have an aluminium axle break in 1968.
Sounds more like the product (axle) rather than the circuit.
