I turn the choke off when the engine starts, even with the engine is warm it still chokes up, have to hold clutch in and give it revs to try to get rid of the fuel that has loaded up, i have to answer no to the pottering around question as i am trying to go as fast as i can to catch up before the start of the race but like i say i cant go quickly to start with as its very sluggish, cheers
