ahh yes - over several years maybe the costs start to become equitable but as said before you and lumping the costs up front with an Aixro rather than some each year in a gearbox. I will keep saying it - not knocking the Aixro as it is a great leap forward. But it is still so new and so few places to race.

Looking at my outlay for a long circuit 125 open and then TOTAL engine costs I expect I will have 4 years before I get to having spent the same as buying an Aixro. That excludes any Aixro service costs as I don't know what they are so maybe 5 years

Give it 3 to 5 years, initial costs down, grids up, tracks up and then it could probably challenge gearboxes.
