I completely agree that rotary is tailored for karting for all the reasons you explained. However on the noise comment, not sure. I like screamers but I think the Aixro noise is absolutely beautiful, it is like a Ducati as someone told me one day. I remember the day I bought it and Richard started the engine on the stand, I found it scary as the engine really sound like a monster, you can feel all the power. Wherever I go UK or Europe people come to see me at my stand for telling me two things: What is this fast thing? Or/and the noise is beautiful. This said I really like the sound of 2 strokes taking 20k rpm as well
