I had a friend who was kart stars and he had exactly the same problem. On the Friday practice on normal pump fuel he had no problems with temperature and was finding good pace. Cleaned out the tank and carb put race fuel in for Saturday temperature was over 230 and was a second of the pace. Could it be a batch of dodgy fuel from the supplier would it not be worth taking it up the people that run kart stars / supply the fuel.
