Excellent advice - thanks. I use chain wax but have always suffered with high chain/sprocket wear. Can you recommend an effective product and frequency of application? I have quite a lot of float on the drum. Maybe I need to replace the washer either side of the roller bearing (both are quite heavily grooved). I also need to replace the sprocket. I have a 11 tooth which means I can run a smaller rear sprocket than with a 10 tooth. 12 tooth would be better still, is one available?
