Interesting debate this one as things have moved on since they were first brought out. Reliability issues would appear to be something of the past - big problems last year but not witnessed one failure that I know of this season. New wiring looms, multi-plugs, more powerful higher voltage batteries have sorted it out. Performance wise - well, it's a fundamentally different engine, higher compression and bigger exhaust manifold will deliver a very different power band and it's a matter of levering the pro's and mitigating the cons. More bottom end, more torque but less top end. Gear it right and it would appear to be competitive. And the dyno doesn't lie............? We run dd by the way!
