My son is hoping to compete as a novice comer cadet at GYG and Three Sisters over the next few months.

Any tips on set ups for there? We are new to all this and struggling to find any information - where do you find out the info?

He isnt particularly fast at the moment and tends to end up going around on his own in a race after everyone has pulled away from him. With this in mind is it better to keep him on his novice plates or do you have to move up to yellow plates?

Any advice for a newbie greatly appreciated. Thanks.
