HR3 - Just curious here and not trying to pick a fight!. You correctly state there's not much you can do with a rotax engine legally. If this is the case then all decent/competent builders should be capable of turning the 'same' standard of engine out. Some engine builders do share tips and certainly strip each others engines (you don't always go to the same engine builder do you) So why do you think oggy is better than others or were you just sighting him as an example? He has a high profile and a reputation for quality and sevice without doubt but does he turn out a quicker motor than any of the other top builders? (I am not talking having an engine built using selected part) I personnally haven't used oggy and am interested if you have had the same motor rebuilt at two different sources and seen a difference.
