If its clutch can you get it running on a stand?

If not work through it logically. Is the plug getting oiled up? Is there a blockage in the carb? If you have spares of anything and you know that one carb is ok you know that if it still stops even with a good carb on its not that.

Are you using fresh fuel? Are the carb settings ok? It could be lack of air so the engine is being chocked. If you try each thing in turn you will fix it and learn so much about the workings of your engine.
