I agree Davyboy. A complete waste of time. The same instructions could be given in writing at signing on. If there has to be a drivers briefing, it could be called before the finals commence and would therefore address any issues that have occured that day.
Requiring the driver to be at scrutineering and the kart to have the wheels bolted on is also ridiculous. I'd go so far as to say the whole of scrutineering in the morning is a waste of time as pretty much everything on the kart could be altered at some point throughout the meeting. If you don't have a required safety item (disk protector for example) then let that be dealt with at eligibility scrutineering.
