Do I interpret that as " the engine starts ok and then builds up speed uncontrolably without using the throttle". If so, then you have an air leak somewhere on the induction side of the engine. Remove the carb and airbox.Remove the reed block unit entirely by the five bolts. Examine the rubber carb mount VERY carefully, pulling it to see if there is a split in it, it will be small. Check the reed block and its gasket. The rubber usually splits because people are lazy when they change a jet and do not remove the airbox and carb but pull the carb between the airbox rubber and carb rubber. Do let us know what you find please. Also check the pulse pump pipe for a good fit and condition.
