The thing is new carbs nowadays are £72.60 so for £85 it has to be worth a pop to the guy buying, I bought it to try out and it won a race, great, but I also had a few other bits on the kart as well as a controvesial set up that could have factored the win, so no not conclusive but the reputation of the carb exceeds my individual findings, however, for me the race was a one-off so it's no good me keeping the carb on a shelf gathering dust, may as well turn it back into cash. I do agree people exagerate a components performance based on its reputation, but I sold the carb on the back of a race win, if it had failed i'd have thrown it in the bin!
