All seems to be getting a bit expensive. It would be nice if they locked the class to 125max with the current carb for say 10 years.
Otherwise in say 2 years if and maybe when it goes 150cc and fuel injection, all those exspensive selected barrels and expensive carbs will be door stops and awning weights.
Rotax are clever at getting money out of people:
Over the last couple of years it has been uprated clutch, coil, reed block, cnc barrels, radiators, exhaust etc.
Why not just ditch Rotax and bolt a 250cc Honda motorcross engine on, which is already fuel injection and has longer service hours?
In 10 years at a guess it will all be electric anyway. Seems an awfull lot of changes always at the racers expense.
