Hi,
We went cadet, Mini's and this year Junior Rotax. In hind sight I would have gone straight to Junior.
Reason being that we left Cadets at 13 years so he was easily large enough to take on junior. The move from Cadet to Mini's was like moving to a large cadet including his and the other kids mindset still being young. whereas the move to juniors has been a big step . More weight, more power and a lot more attitude.

Based on this, if your kid is mature, go for junior. take a year to settle and learn, then take on the world next season.

The carb setting (with JetTech) was very similar. If anything a little easier in Junior.
