Personally, my younger brother started karting in 1975, we purchased a new Zip Shadow and Komet K88 engine , from Sisley Karting, when Bill had a shop at Swanley Kent..Brother had been messing around on fun karts at school....We raced every month at Tilbury and Rye House. Karting then went on to play a massive part in our lives for the next 37 years, and still does.

Do you see karting as just hobby or maybe a stepping stone in cars?
