Thanks Liam and mlbeave, I think I have checked most of these points and just had engine rebuilt by a prof kart engineer. I will double check all the points again at weekend. My lad is complaining of massive vibration through the kart and i had run it on the stand and noticed this chain problem when trying to find the vibration, its a Direct Drive, all new sprockets and laser alligned. I am normally good at problem solving, but this has me beaten at the moment, Ive even tried with wheels off and still get same prob. Also tried different engine. I was wondering if a different chain type (heavier duty than the DID) may help, dont know how you get so long out of a chain ?
