Doesn’t look modified to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACDmXs8PYjQ&feature=related and I’ve never heard of modification being needed. The word is they are very fast (obviously), reliable and low maintenance. The only problems I've read about are noise at some tracks and heavy vibration (but that's bad on 2-strokes generally, isn't it? They’re all crude, after all).
