Ah yes, remember now. The chap who owns (owned?) both of those karts originally posted that on the K1 forum.

He said:
“Mine is bone stock direct drive motor with dual alky carb, RLV DD87 pipe and of course methanol is my fuel of choice. This set up is 40-42 hp. I rev it to 17000-18000 rpm and it turns 9000-10000 rpm out of slow turns. It's like 100cc ICA on double dose of steroids. Pistons, chains and sprockets are part of weekly (or daily) maintenance.”

He’s driving the Aixro in that vid; a big 6’5” guy, so no wonder it’s close.
