Superkarts banned weights on the sides of the seats that wrapped slightly round the driver after a driver suffered smasher hips and pelvis at Lausitz in 08. If parents are allowing their kid to have lead lined rib protectors you should be ashamed!! In a big accident they could break ribs and puncture a lung!! If you're kid doesn't meet the weight limit, feed them up or find a different class!! Deary me
