I must admit, the ONE thing I didn't like in TKM when I started out was the bigger money people used to use more revs. We ran ours to 15,500 at Pembrey but people who were running them to 16,500 obviously then had an advantage out of the tight hairpin there for example.
So i'm with you guys. Bring back TKM Clubman:
Back to Maxxis SLC green label slicks TKM homologatec chassis only like the old days (who else used to get really excited every 4 years when all the new chassis came out?!) Keep the engines direct drive only (for seniors), with only blue printing allowed and fit a rev limiter to limit the engines to say 15,500 rpm
