This website hasn't changed since I first started racing in 1997!!

Fragmented is an excellent term, and I agree thats most of the problem. To my mind this is because a lot of one make engine classes are form for commercial interests.

I;ve raced in everything from TKM to Superkarts, but stopped earlier this year due to the sheer cost of even competing, let alone being competitive, it definately took the fun out of it for me, knowing is say something broke (which they do regulalrly in 250!) it would cost me a week's wages to fix it.
