If there is a problem with you engine at the event you can request to change it. I have heard from good authority that he changed everything (engine, carb, exhaust, loom etc)several times to try and find some speed. The organisers let him do this as they were not keen on the British and European Champion battling it out at the lower end of the grid! How many of yous know that his super one engine is banned next year from use in super one?
