specific reasons....Insurance and safety...and yes that level(ish) playing field we all talk about. In order for IKR to progress from its present position some kind of rule - Regulations - Framework whatever you wish to call IS needed otherwise drivers will just migrate to the circuits with the least level of "rules". They don't need to be Draconian just basics otherwise a whole bunch of IKR scrutineers are going to be drafted in every meeting..!!

And Chris34 max-Racewear is correct disclaimers are not worth the paper they are written on
