As far as I know 3 Sisters and Hooton have rules therefore as long as there Insurers know about these rules and they are enforced then all 'could' be OK.

However in the event of a serious injury and claim then their Insurers will investigate the incident and take I view as whether or not all reasonable precautions had been taken so as to prevent such an accident ie. was such an accident foreseeable given the circumstances and were all reasonable precautions taken by those in control.

Now if for instance the insurers find that by simply enforcing rules such as those published by the MSA the accident would have been prevented then I would not want be either the injured party waiting for my compensation or the organisers of the event.
