As Russ says adjust the tick over with the adjustment screw on the carb.
One thing to take note of is the engine might tick over just fine before you go out on track but after the engine has got hot and you have done a 10 minute session you will find that the engine will die when you drop your speed to crawling pace. Because of this you need to make it tick over at higher revs before you go out (when the engine is cold), this will then mean it will tick over correctly when the engine is hot. There is a bit of trial and error to get it just right, test in small increments, you don't want to be trying to start the engine with the throttle half open.
