Ive had the pull cords go a few times now, never failed to start the heat, a knot in the line just below the handle and a pair of long nose pliers helps when the handle fails (this seems to be the biggest flaw!!! a plastic handle or should I say hard rubber with a bit of line with a knot in it??? (bad engineering)
the handle warms up the knot slips through!

I am sure they will fix this issue in the near future.
