Its really unusual to have these problems so maybe I was a bit harsh saying it was all down to you. You shouldn't be losing 2 seconds without touching the kart.

I would take Andy up on his offer and I think there was another guy who offered help aswell. It sounds like Andy knows what he's up to with engines and carbs and get the other guy in the thread to help you with setting the kart up as regards throttle etc and hopefuly you will move stay where you want to be rather than suffering a mysterious drop off in pace.

Karting should never be this difficult and despite what people say about difficulty setting chassis up and sensitive carbs etc it still shouldn't be that difficult. Hope you get sorted.
