Trouble is Alan, those guys who followed Simon Vercoe around for 5 laps, having watched the video and heard your commentary may now be thinking 'actually I should have given him a shove' and when they do so they will probably reap the rewards.

I don't get why you're defending the incident free standing starts but at the same time saying crashes are great. It is contradictory I'm afraid.

For what it's worth, I don't have a particularly strong opinion on standing starts but I am concerned that your commentary encourages the view that ramming is ok in our sport. Yes I can turn you off but many impressionable people are still listening, including the guy following me when I'm defending. If John is serious about stamping out contact then maybe he should start by having words with you.
