For the first time you should have brought an X30 to go with it, thus removing yourself from the Dickensian Tal-ko movement.

But, to answer your question, the best way to ruin the chassis, which appears to be Tal-ko's aim in this bizarre rule, might be to choose the flat chrome bar and set it at 45 deg upwards to the front.

The rear bar is seldom if ever used and the OTK chassis is such that you can drop it on the floor and it will handle fine in standard setup.

You will find the front ride height adjustment a useful handling tool.

Fit a retaining ring above as well as below the steering column tube and leave a small bit of play to prevent the bottom column support from fracturing.

Make sure you back the engine stop off at least 1/2 a turn as the OTK can crack on the outer tube by the bearing hanger if the engine stop is tight on the engine.

Steel prices are about £16.00 per tonne at the moment so you can gauge the worth of your chassis after welding it!
