I had the OTK 1.5 mm bar in my Alonso. By the time i'd removed the paint off the torsion bar and the chassis, the gap was too large to perform a decent weld so I made some collars and welded both ends.
I chose the 1.5mm bar without testing. My decision was based on the info that the Viper chassis had a 2 mm bar but was machined to 1mm in the centre which had been tested.
It was pretty poor without the bar based on my experience.
