Ok check rotary valve timing, head off, carb off, looking at carb inlet, turn piston to top of cylinder, at highest point look through carb inlet,the rotary valve should be open( you should be able to see through to conrod and underside of piston), turn the engine clockwise (facing rotary valve inlet)as the piston comes down then the rotary valve will start to close, when piston is halfway down then valve should be closed across inlet. If this looks right then it ist not the valve timming, try the iginition setting.
