There is a lot more to a tkm engine than the barrel. You could put the best barrel on in the world but if the bottom end isn't built right in terms of the trueness of the crank for example forget it. Talko know what they are doing,not every flyer with a new barrel is down to just the barrel. There is so much to check to scrutineer an engine properly. Unless it's had head volume and port timing no engine can be deemed safe. Talko really do know what they are doing. I wouldn't hesitate sending an engine to them. Your engine number is no guarantee that's the barrel that came with that bottom end.
