The PV gaskets tend to leak if reused.

Also you should tighten the two bolts very evenly.

I've never found it necessary to fit the smaller bellows spring.
I personally never fitted a new bellows in 10 years, in fact the old ones went better and I'm not alone in that belief.

The trick with the gasket used to be to cut the ends off but 'that lot' in heir infinite wisdom decided that it was non compliant but got themselves off the hook by deciding that 'some fraying' might occur at the ends. And that could be allowed.

Lord, give me strength. You couldn't dream it up if you tried.
