It's got nothing to do with carbs. We're talking about brand new starters that apparently are guaranteed to fail. Oh but it's racing so we can accept sub-standard parts I suppose.

Don't muddy the waters with false analogies Banzai. You guys are pushing this class but right now you're doing a good job of highlighting a major issue that the class owner and engine manufacturer have failed to address (according to you). In the mean time I'll stick to direct drive and I'm sure others will stick to rotax. I have no interest in fixing a design fault and stripping a peripheral part every meeting. That defeats the object.

I do recall the driver's association felt quite strongly about this at one point. What happened?
