The elite drivers went to X30, IKR has chipped away at the middle and bottom ends. It probably isn't any cheaper than Rotax at the entry level when you consider that tyres last two days and the engine needs a rebuild every 10 hours.

There is time to save the class. Harder, cheaper tyres would be a massive incentive.
