Some of the people on here seem proper odd.

You discover an engine builder had parts from your engine "so they can make more money" and yet you still use them and have to escort your stuff there and back.
How king stupid are you?!?!

Any decent engine builder will just offer to buy the good motor if they think it'll pay for itself.

I'd take anything you hear from a gobby dad in a kart paddock with a whole shaker of salt tbh.
