Well unfortunately the situation is very bad at the minute with differences of upto 1.5 seconds in the wets. We had a brand new set before the January P F I meeting and expected to be in the top five pace wise, but the tyres were awful with poor ability to grip the tarmac in the braking phase and letting go of the track coming out of the corners. In this situation an average driver can make a very good one look foolish.
