Start with the air screw 1 1/2 turns out.

All the airscrew does is vary the amount of air (not fuel) passing into the idle circuit, therefore you simply adjust the airscrew to get the fastest idle speed when the engine is warm and then forget about it. Unless you change your fuel or mixture ratio in which case you can re adjust.

Once the idle rises, just wind the throttle stop screw out to bring the revs down to a smooth tick over.

ALL carbs will tick over if properly serviced and cleaned.
