Doh! Sorry, completely missed the 'evo' bit.

82.5 should be ok. You may not be able to get it any shorter than that as the stud might be too long.

With the old power valve studs they did vary in length.

That's why we could get the length down to 72mm.

I know some builders set the EVO valve to 80-81mm but you may find you can't get near that because of the stud length.

82.5-83,5 is probably the window you will be in.

Check that the valve does in fact open fully by raising it with your finger up the exhaust header.

Do it with the battery disconnected or on your own, just in case!
