A few years ago just before the rotax evo was to come out, every1 was saying when the evo-starts 2016 , you will need to buy the new evo max complete as converting your old motor with full evo internals won’t keep up with the new evo barrels,

Well as I suspected.... what a heap of Shite , a really good old motor with that had a brilliant barrel in its day will still be good!

Yes the new Evos out of the box are more consistant out of the box, at 30 horse power I believe,

I just rebuilt my 2007 motor I paid a lot of money years ago with full internal s and is still bang on the pace with top motors raced by people around me! I know sellers tell the opposite to try and keep the sales of fresh engines been sold, but if u can afford to buy brand out of the box motor, don’t sell your old motor if it was a top motor before for pennies that they are worth now! My dyno sheet tried and tested against the latest prove different!

I look forward to the critics and specialist reply’s to my thread
